Sri Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated on the eighth day of the dark fortnight in the month of Shravana. Lord Krishna was the son of Devaki and Vasudeva and his birthday is celebrated by Hindus as Janmashtami or Gokulashtami.

Makhan Misri :
